About Michael Rindler

If only… I could be a painter, rendering masterpieces with pigment and light.

If only…I could be a composer, creating beautiful music solely from my imagination.

If only…I could be a sculptor, shaping stone into breathtaking forms.

If only…

I make photographs. They are my way of telling a story. I endeavor to show beauty in my images. Beauty in nature, boats and motorcars, people, patina and color. I feel great joy when I make a photograph or a portfolio that communicates pure beauty to me and evokes a sublime response when viewed by others.

I live in Southwest Harbor, Maine, and Apalachicola, Florida, two unpretentious fishing villages. In addition to making photographs, I enjoy creating bespoke books and special portfolios for friends and clients. My work resides in private collections around the United States. My greatest aspiration is to make photographs worthy of my teachers and mentors, Gino Miele and Peter Ralston.

About THE Collections

Nine Collections are the foundation of my photographic work. Each Collection makes a unique statement. Collections are all related, however, by my affinity for all things vintage, my fondness of color in nature and the infinite variety of design provided by photographic subjects.

All Collection images are available to be acquired, along with Bespoke Books and Special Portfolios. Please INQUIRE.
